Has your business gone green? Are you concerned about our country's dependence on foreign oil? Do you support the clean, renewable energy
opportunities that will create green-collar jobs right here in South Carolina? Then you should join us on September 16th!
Conservation Voters of South Carolina presents the first annual Green Tie Luncheon on September 16, 2009.
The first-annual Conservation Voters Green Tie Luncheon will provide a perfect opportunity to connect your business with conservation-minded consumers and our state's elected leaders.
Conservation Voters of South Carolina has been the leading advocate on behalf of green businesses at the General Assembly. This luncheon will recognize current and retired public servants
and environmental leaders for their dedication to creating a safe, clean, and healthy South Carolina. Honorees will be selected for the 2009 event from each of the following categories:
Lifetime Conservation Achievement, Senate Conservation Leadership and House Conservation Leadership.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall of Historic 701 Whaley located in the heart of the Olympia
community in downtown Columbia, SC. The luncheon will feature local and organic foods in a natural and eco-friendly environment. We are dedicated to making this event GREEN in
every way possible.
