There is a big scandal in concerning the 4th circuit solicitor's office. Until last week, there was very little mainstream media interest. There is an FBI
investigation going on right now, and it is rumored that our local representative, former head of SLED, and potentially politicos in Columbia who were
involved in trying to cover up several issues related to this. See FITSNEWS.com for several articles related to this. I would like to see the FBI investigate
any and all persons involved to clean up this county. We are consistently one of the poorest in the state and perhaps the dealing of above mentioned
people is why. The more people who are interested in this issue and the more people who know about it may bring about necessary change to this area.
UPDATE - FITSNEWS interviews indicate no foul play discovered to date.
